Like other launcher apps on Google Play, Astra AI Launcher may request permissions needed for core functionality—for example, visibility into installed apps to show your app drawer, alarm access for reminder notifications, optional microphone access for voice input, and advertising identifiers for ad-supported features. The App may also request notification permission to display reminder alerts in your notification shade, using AlarmManager and scheduled alarms at the times you choose. When your network is unstable, a VPN service may be used to help synchronize news and online data more reliably; Android will ask for your consent before any VPN connection is established.
